7 Ways DAD Can Make Your Postpartum Easier
1. Organize and prepare. Make a list of family and friends who would like to help and enjoy newborn energy. Let someone you trust be in charge of arranging cooking, grocery shopping, cleaning and other household things needing to be done. Both you and your husband will need A LOT of rest the first weeks after your baby is born.
2. Money. Save some money to treat yourself with Ayurvedic Abhyanga (oil application). That Dad takes care of you means taking care of your baby and the better you feel, the quicker you recover and gain back your energy.
3. Purification. Wash off the stress of the outer world – ask your husband to take a shower first thing when he comes home.
